A Successful Start!

Our first grant meeting was held  Thursday, November 30th – Saturday, December 2nd, 2017. In the spirit of our Trans-Atlantic partnership, local and international participants attended both virtually from Amsterdam, and in person in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the School of Information Studies (SOIS) of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM).

SOIS PhD students from Professor Smiraglia’s Mixed Methods Research course attended the afternoon of the 30th to witness collaboration in a large-scale information science research first hand. This experience provided them with the unique experience of planning long-term research and sharing individual expertise with an international multidisciplinary research team.
