On Wednesday, July 3rd, 2018, Richard Smiraglia, a PI on the Digging into the Knowledge Graph grant, is currently serving as a KNAW Visiting Professor. In this capacity, he held a lecture at the Data Archiving and Networked Services lunch seminar titled “Network Structures for Discovery: Classification Interaction”. His talk was followed by a discussion about efforts to keep provenance of data management during the research life cycle, and the ability to (in principle) record any change in data and metadata in a digital environment which can be aligned with authority and version control via Trusted Digital Repositories.
