Dr. Daniel Martínez-Ávila will be presenting our paper, Classifying the LOD Cloud: Digging Into the Knowledge Graph, at the X Encontro Internacional De Informação, Conhecimento E Ação (X EIICA, or, the Tenth Annual Meeting on Information, Knowledge, and Action) in Marília, Sao Paolo, Brazil on June 21, 2018. Our paper discusses the benefits of linked open data (LOD) for knowledge organization systems (KOS), and explores whether KOSes can gain greater consistency through the application of LOD.
